Mama TENS hire- Terms and Conditions

1. Mama TENS should only be used in accordance with the manufacturers instructions provided and only by the Customer named on the hire form.

2. The success of Mama TENS in labour is neither guaranteed nor warranted by Pink or Blue.

3. Mama TENS must not be used by anyone fitted with a cardiac pacemaker, who has a heart disease or suffers from epilepsy.

4.  The Customer will have consulted their medical advisor prior to use.

5. Mama TENS must not be used until the pregnancy has reached full term (37 weeks onwards).

6. If the baby is overdue, the Customer must phone Pink or Blue on
1300 787 609 to request an extra 7 days hire. This will be given free of charge.

7. Failure to return the Mama TENS at the end of the hire period will result in the Customer being charged $10 for each and every week or any part of a week over and above the hire period until the Mama TENS is returned. If the unit is not returned for any reason the Customer will be charged the full retail value of the unit(RRP $249).

8. In the event of damage to, or loss of the Mama TENS by the Customer, the full retail value less the hire charge is payable to Pink or Blue by the Customer (RRP $249).

9. Non-use of the hired Mama TENS is entirely at the discretion of the customer and no refund will apply. If your booking is cancelled, you will be refunded less an administration fee of $10.
If the Mama TENS has already been sent NO REFUND can be made.

10. Pink or Blue is not responsible for any injury or damage sustained as a result of misuse of the Mama TENS unit.

11. The Customer should check the contents of the hire pack upon receipt and familiarise herself with the Mama TENS and the instructions.

12. In hiring the Mama TENS from Pink or Blue, the Customer agrees to the above terms and conditions.



PRECAUTIONS
1. Mama TENS should not be used before 37 weeks of pregnancy unless under medical supervision.
2. Electrodes should only be placed as recommended.
3. Do not place electrodes on the front or side of the neck, chest, abdomen or on the head.
4. Do not use TENS if you have a cardiac pacemaker or suffer from epilepsy.
5. Do not use in Mama TENS in Water. Mama TENS should be removed before entering shower, bath or birthing pool.
WARNING:
1. Electronic monitoring equipment (such as ECG monitors, fetal monitoring and ECG alarms) may not operate properly when Mama TENS is in use.
2. Skin irritation can occur following long term application.
